Wilma I. (Hall) Houston, of White Bear Lake, Minn., died peacefully at age 80 on April 8, 2018.
She was born Feb. 1, 1936 in East Palestine, the daughter of the late Willard and Christine Hall, Sr.
She grew up in this area, graduating from East Palestine High School in 1956.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Norma Peterson (Merlin); her twin brother, Willard Hall, Jr.; and a son, Robert Houston, Jr.
She is survived by her children, Tracy Houston, Tom (Sandi) Houston, Patty Harrington (Brian), all of Minnesota, and Paul (Amy) Houston of Missouri; two sisters, Janet Rockenberger (George) of East Palestine and Janice Selby (John) of Columbiana; seven grandchildren, Jason Taylor (Erica), Jon Taylor, Chris Houston (Leah), Mike Houston, Amanda Landon (David), Nic and Rachael Harrington; three great-grandchildren, Kailey and Charlotte Houston and Isaac Landon; and nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed sunning in the boat and fishing for hours and insisted on mowing her own lawn, doing yard work and gardening. Bur family was her first priority. She will be missed by many.
A celebration of her life will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. today at Casey Lake Park in North St. Paul, Minn.
