Betty Kerr

Betty was born March 15, 1926, in Salineville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Donald and Dorothy Bettis McCord.

She graduated from Salineville High School. Betty worked numerous jobs during her lifetime, her last being postal clerk for the Salineville Post Office for 22 years. She had a wonderful sense of humor and will be remembered for her smile and laughter.

Betty will be sadly missed by her loving daughter Deborah Hayes and her husband Tom Hayes whom she loved like a son; brother-in-law, Walter (Dick) (Janet) Kerr; three special nephews, Greg (Gail) Kerr, Kevin Kerr and John (Laura) McCord; one niece, Julie McCord; five great nieces and five great nephews; two cousins, Jack (Dorothy) Hiscox and Kenneth (Kay) Bettis and her best friend and companion Ozzy.

Besides her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband John R. (Bob) Kerr and her brother Donald (Buzz) McCord.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday April 11, 2018 at 12:00 PM at the Kerr-Pastore Funeral Home in Salineville, Ohio with Pastor Tom Allmon of the Bethesda Presbyterian Church officiating.

Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Salineville, Ohio.

Family and friends may call at the Kerr-Pastore Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 10:00 AM until time of service.
