Stuart Diven
EAST LIVERPOOL — Stuart “Wayne” Diven, 84, formerly of Industry, Pa., died 10 a.m. Thursday at The Orchards of East Liverpool.
He was born July 30, 1933 in Cokeville, Pa., the son of the late Jesse Robert and Mildred Morton Diven.
He had retired from the former Crucible Steel Co. in 1982.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was a member of the Smiths Ferry United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Diven; a stepson, Danny Vitolich; and a sister, Joyce Camp.
Survivors include his daughter, Diane Diven Miladin of East Liverpool; a stepson, Milan Vitolich of Blanco, Texas; a sister, Sondra Gilmer of Chester, W.Va.; and two grandchildren.
Memorial services with military honors will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 28 at the Dawson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Willard “Chuck” Adkins officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 28.
