Russell Coffman

Salineville — Russell W. Coffman, 77, formerly of State Route 644, passed away at 8:03am, Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Circle of Care in Salem.

Mr. Coffman was born January 31, 1940 in Fairfield Township, a son of the late Russell and Helen (Ertzinger) Coffman.

Russell worked as a machinist at the former Ohio Hoist. Then he moved to Florida, and worked as a truck driver delivering pop machines for Coke Cola, retiring in 2002.

He was a member of the former Lisbon First Presbyterian Church, an avid bowler, and he enjoyed playing baseball and golf.

His wife, Cecelia (Ash) Coffman, whom he married January 4, 1964, preceded him in death, April 30, 2002.

Russell is survived by his children, Cassie (Dan) Dunn of Holiday, Florida, Tom (Jen) Coffman of New Port Richey, Florida, and Tim (Michelle) Coffman of Salineville; brother, George (Marsha) Coffman of South Carolina; grandchildren, Joanie Coffman, Tim Coffman, Jr., Marrisa Coffman, Kenneth Coffman; step grandchildren, Brianna and Kalyn Terry; great grandchildren, Braxton Lee Parsons, and Ryan and Andrew Brown.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Dale and Mitchell Coffman.

No calling hours will be observed. A celebration of life service for Russell will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home.
