Frances Bussard

EAST LIVERPOOL — Frances R. Walter Bussard, 95, Bank Street, died Wednesday at Calcutta Health Care Center.

She was born July 21, 1922 in Wampum, Pa., the daughter of the late Samuel and Mayme Holler Walter.

She was a homemaker and had worked as a welder at Curtis Wright during World War II.

She was a Campground Community Church member.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Bussard; two sisters, Ethel Duncan and Florence Lurch Schreckengost; and four brothers, Paul Walter, Mervin Walter, Robert Walter and Raymond Walter.

Survivors include three daughters, R. Elaine Smith of Grand Rapids, Mich., Sally A. Baker of East Liverpool and M. Kim Montgomery of East Liverpool; a sister, Freda Pistarius; a brother, Ken Walter; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at the Dawson Funeral Home, with Pastor Tom Adkins officiating. Burial will be at Columbiana County Memorial Park.

Calling hours will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday.
