EAST LIVERPOOL — Lillie Mae Thomas Aikens, 83, of Center Street, died at 8:51 p.m. Saturday at Southern Care Hospice, Heritage Valley Beaver.
Born May 5, 1934 in East Liverpool, she was the daughter of the late Bert and Celestia Wellman Thomas, and was a lifetime area resident.
A homemaker, she was a member of the Boyce United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Wright and Judy Powell of East Liverpool; four sons, John and James Aikens of East Liverpool, Dennis Aikens of Fuquay-Varina, N.C., and Robert Aikens of Chula Vista, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman J. Aikens, and a son, Chris
The Rev. Willard Chuck Adkins will conduct a services at the Dawson Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Calling hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. Private burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.
