SALEM — James T. Griffiths, 80, of Salem, died at 11:30 p.m. Friday at the Center for Rehabilitation at Hampton Woods in Poland.
He was born April 4, 1937 in Youngstown, the son of the late John and Anna (Bode) Griffiths.
He worked for General Motors in Lordstown for 35 years and retired as a machine repairman. He was Methodist by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly J. (Brooks) Griffiths; a son, Kevin of Salem; a daughter, Cheryl Rozeski of Columbiana; a brother, William “Bill” Griffiths of Ellsworth; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A sister, Elizabeth Lier, preceded him in death.
A memorial service will be 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Stark Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Marino officiating. Friends may call from 1-3 p.m. Wednesday. A Masonic service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday.
