SALEM — Ora Leon Jordan, 73, of Salem died May 12, 2017 at Blossom Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born July 10, 1943 in Webster Springs, W.Va., the son of the late Ora Edwin and Myrtle Caroline (Fisher) Jordan.
He was a former truck driver. More recently, he started a business buying and selling furniture.
He was Baptist by faith.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Daisy (Fisher) Jordan; his children, Kelly Jordan of Salem, Rodney Jordan of Calcutta, Kurt Jordan of West Point, Kenneth Jordan of Salem, Eric Jordan of Calcutta; siblings, Madeline Gosmez of Florida, Nina Springer of Elyria, Wilda Roby of Elyria, Maxine Watkins of Elyria, Sue Carpenter of Lorain and Edwin Jordan of Hookstown, Pa.; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, with Pastor Dirk Hall officiating. Roger Roby will give the eulogy.
