BELOIT — Darla K. Young, 64, of Beloit died 7:20 p.m. Wednesday at the University Hospital Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, following a 2-year battle with cancer.
She was born May 18, 1952 in Canton, the daughter of Marjorie (Stalder) Manfull and the late Robert Manfull.
She worked at John Krizay Co., as an inspector for 20 years and previously at American Standard for 20 years, also as an inspector. She sold Mary Kay cosmetics and was a licensed cosmetologist as a nail tech.
She was a member of the St. Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, William G. Young Jr.; two sons, William G. Young III of Beloit and Robert Young of Wilmington, N.C.; her mother, Marjorie Manfull of Minerva; and a sister, Cheryl Walters of Minerva.
A funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. Robert Edwards officiating. Burial will be held at Augusta Cemetery in Augusta, Ohio.
Calling hours will be 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Stark Memorial Funeral Home.
