EAST LIVERPOOL — Rebekah J. “Jean” Jividen, 90, of East Liveroool died Monday.
She was born March 14, 1927 in Newell, W.Va., the daughter of the late Arza and Ruby Fluharty Straight.
She worked for Ohio Bell as a telephone operator. She was a seamstress and the owner of Missy’s Market.
She was a member of Northside Community Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Jividen; and a sister, Mildred Walters.
Survivors include her sons, Bud Jividen of Dayton and Scott Jividen of East Liverpool; daughters, Cathy Matthews of Canton, Debbie Perkins of East Liverpool, Pam Newlun of East Liverpool and Stephanie Smith of Miamisburg; brother, Arza Straight of Loveland, Colo.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Arner Funeral Chapel, Chester, W.Va., with Pastor Larry Rose officiating.
Calling hours will be 1-3 p.m. Wednesday.
