Randall Gauding
SALEM — Randall E. “Randy” Gauding, 58, of Columbiana, passed away Wednesday morning, March 22 at Salem Medical Center with his beloved wife at his side.
Randy was born on June 18, 1958, in Salem, a son of Eugene and Dorothy (Grimes) Gauding. A Leetonia High School graduate, he also studied at Johnson Bible College for two years. He was a worship leader and pastor at Highland Christian Church for 15 years, and worked in that capacity as well at Woodland Park United Methodist Church and Winona Methodist Church. Randy attended Abundant Life Church in New Waterford.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, the former Bonita Homan, whom he married August 20, 1983; stepmother Ruth Gauding; a brother Jim Hofer and his wife Jane of Lisbon; a sister Judy Martin and her husband Bob of Columbiana, as well as many nieces and nephews, Michelle, Halee, David, Bill, Tyson, Zach, Mitch, Craig, Kayla, Brandy and Ryan.
Randy was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy, his father Eugene and his nephew John Hofer.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home, 154 S. Elm Street, Columbiana with Minister John Reed officiating.
The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m., an hour before the services at the funeral home.
