WELLSVILLE — Harold Franklin Congrove, 83, of Wellsville died Saturday at East Liverpool City Hospital.
He was born July 15, 1933 in Wellsville, the son of the late Howard W. and Lucille (Yost) Congrove.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He worked for 29 years as a yard foreman for the former Ohio Edison Power Plant before retiring in 1991.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita (Leatherberry) Congrove; and a brother, William Congrove.
Survivors include four daughters, Lynn Henderson of Wellsville, Lisa Cochran of Calcutta, Lana Congrove of Wellsville and Kara Pierson of Wellsville; and one son, Gregg Congrove of Wellsville; 11 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
A private funeral service will be held. Burial will be in St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the Roberts Funeral Home.
