SPENCER — James Carl Ebaugh, 78 of Spencer, died Feb. 3. He was born Feb. 6, 1938 in East Liverpool, to James M. and Rita (O’Hanlon) Ebaugh.
He served with the U.S. Army in post-war Korea, and later moved to He moved to Montreal, Canada where he worked for Bailey Meter before forming a partnership with Mark Camp at Rockford Controls/RCO Sales. He retired in 2002. He was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Litchfield.
Survivors include his wife, the former Constance Bretton; a daughter, D’Arcy Edwards; a son, David Ebaugh; a sister, Judy Pamintuan of Florida; a brother, Michael Ebaugh of East Liverpool; and five grandchildren.
Memorial services were held Feb. 7 at the church in Litchfield. Inurnment will be at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman at a later date.
