James Miller
WELLSVILLE — James A. “Sparky” Miller, 70, of Wellsville died Wednesday at East Liverpool City Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was born Aug. 5, 1946 in Wellsville, the son of the late Birchie and Mildred (Andrews) Miller.
He was a journeyman electrician and a certified welder, taught electrical servicing classes at the Joint Vocational School, installed roofing and siding and repaired and installed furnaces.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
Survivors include wife, Barbara (Roberts) Miller; two daughters, Melissa Miller of Wellsville and Susan Pucci of Horseheads, N.Y.; three sons, James Stewart of East Liverpool, James Miller of East Liverpool and Charles Miller of Texas; one sister, Tina Call of Howard; two brothers, Rodger Miller of Wellsville and Chip Mick of Toronto; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Roberts Funeral Home, with the Rev. Judith Scott and Rev. Kenneth Maylone officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be 6-8 p.m. Friday.
