Rocco Vizzuso

Rocco Vizzuso, 59, of Alliance, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday morning, October 25, 2016.

Born on August 30, 1957 in Alliance, Ohio to Benjamin and Norma (Conrad) Vizzuso, he lived in Homeworth for most of his life.

Rocco attended West Branch High School, and was Co-owner of Homeworth Fabrication & Machine, which he and his lifelong friend, Ronald Matz began on March 17, 1986.

Rocco dedicated 20 plus years of his heart & soul to coaching girls in the Sebring-West Branch Softball League.  Also enjoyed and made many friends through his years of tractor pulling and drag racing. He especially loved time spent with his family.

Survivors include three daughters, Lindsey B. (John Jr.) Rose of Homeworth, OH, Kiyara W. Kinser of Alliance, OH, Allyson R. (Jason) Smith of Homeworth, OH; five grandchildren, Jacob Rose, Jarrod Rose, Marissa Smith, Jason Smith, Jr., Antonio Smith; two brothers, Ronald L Vizzuso of Homeworth, OH, Bob (Deirdre) Vizzuso of Beloit, OH; his companion, Beth Adams of Paris, OH; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents Norma and Benjamin Vizzuso.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home.

His Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016 at 11:00 am at Sharer-Stirling-Skivolocke Funeral Home, with Rev. Tom Sawyer, of Middle Sandy Presbyterian Church, officiating.  Burial will immediately follow at Highland Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions are suggested to his endeavors of establishing a softball field for many to enjoy: Eckert Memorial Field, PO Box 127, Homeworth, OH  44634. Contributions can be left at the funeral home or at any Consumers National Bank location.
