Jamison Crawford

Montgomery, Alabama — Jamison Christopher “Jamey” Crawford, 36, passed away early Monday morning from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Montgomery.

Jamey was born August 5, 1980 in Fort Knox, Kentucky, a son of Raymond E. and Deborah (Halfhill) Crawford.

A graduate of Auburn University, he was the assistant manager of Jared’s Jewelry store in Montgomery.

In addition to his parents of Poland, Ohio, he is survived by his sister, Allison Shroades and her fiance, Jason Russell of Calcutta; brother Shawn Crawford and his wife Holly of Anniston, Alabama; nieces and nephews, Arielle, Maxwell, Makenah, and Jonathan; Aunt Barbara Stover of Lisbon, Aunt Pamela and Uncle Sam Gorby of Negley; Aunt Vicki and Uncle Richard Donahue of East Liverpool, Aunt Tina and Uncle Scott Gorby of Calcutta; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Crawford of Columbiana; maternal grandmother, Greta Halfhill of Calcutta; and several cousins.

Jamey was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Norman Crawford and Virgil Halfhill.

Funeral services will be held at 11am, Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with Mr. Jeff Diddle officiating. Burial will follow at the Kemble Cemetery in Elkton.

The family will receive friends from 6pm until 8pm Friday at the funeral home.
