SALEM – Carl H. Tyson, 77, of Salem died at 6:20 a.m. Tuesday at the Essex of Salem III.
He was born April 14, 1937 in Kentucky, the son of the late William E. and Arlene Tyson.
Mr. Tyson was a foundry worker for Quaker City Castings.
His wife, Myrna M. (Shoaf) Tyson, preceded him in death.
Survivors include a son, Michael J. Tyson of Salem; two daughters, Kathy Virden of Plant City, Fla., and Christina Williams of New Cumberland, W.Va.; two brothers, Luciana “Tom” Tyson and Bill Tyson, both of Kentucky; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
