North Benton, Ohio – Richard L. Clark, Jr., 64 of State Route 14 passed away with his family by his side at 2:32 p.m. Thursday, August 14, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center of Youngs-town.
Richard was born August 25, 1949 in Salem, a son of the late Richard L. and Mary Jane (Cunningham) Clark, Sr. and grew up in East Palestine and then spent time in Columbiana and for the last 15 – 20 years he had lived in North Benton. He was a graduate of Crestview High School and had worked 40 years for Columbiana Foundry and the last 20 years there as a foreman. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of Lake Berlin, fishing and boating.
He is survived by two sons, Rick (Amy) Clark of Columbiana, and Jeremy (Gina) Clark of New Middletown; a daughter, Kim (Greg) Fisk of Austintown; a sister, Judy Nenadic of Columbiana; seven grandchildren, Jacob, Andrew, Zachary and Matthew Clark, Elaine Clark, and Riley and Mya Fisk; and his nephews, Ian Nenadic of Columbiana and Aaron (Julie) Nenadic of Salem.
The funeral service will be held Monday, August 18th, at 11:00 a.m. at the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home, East Palestine. Burial will follow in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens, New Waterford. Friends will be received from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
