LEETONIA – Kenneth “Kenny” A. Rummel, 55, of Leetonia died at his home, after suddenly becoming ill.
He was born in Dayton, the son of Shirley Barto and the late Lawrence V. Rummel.
He worked as a general labored in various occupations.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Kolich.
Survivors include three sons, Steven Slagle of Salem, Ryan Slagle of Salem, and Mark Knight of Youngstown; four daughters, Jennifer Pieri of Leetonia, Courtney Fast, Rachel Rummel, and Amber Rummel, all of Salem; his mother, Shirley Barto of Columbiana; three brothers, Larry Rummel of Columbiana, Danny Rummel of East Palestine, and Barry Rummel of East Palestine; one sister, Karten Wilson of East Palestine; and four grandchildren.
A memorial celebration of his life will be held 6 p.m. Friday at Beaver Creek State Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to honor his memory.
