SALEM – Dale B. Emelo, 70, of Salem, died at 7:44 a.m. Tuesday at his home.
He was born Feb. 23, 1944 in West Brownsville, Pennsylvania, the son of late Joseph and Janie E. (Furlong) Emelo.
Mr. Emelo was a tool and die maker, working 22 years for Sekely Tool and Die and seven years for Quaker Manufacturing. He served in the U.S. Army and attended the Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah (Ulrich) Emelo, and a brother, Cecil Emelo of Austintown.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Louis, John and Joe Emelo; a sister, Betty Cook and two half-sisters, Emelia and Grace.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Stark Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Alan Smearsoll officiating. Calling hours are 5-8 p.m. Friday. Burial with military honors will be at Grandview Cemetery.
