South Beaver Twp. – Ray S. Trautvetter, 74, and his wife, Janet M. (Black) Trautvetter, 69, both of South Beaver Twp., shared a loving and close relationship. Together they passed on from this life, on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 to be together in eternity.
Ray was born on December 7, 1939 in Darlington, he was the son of Elverta (Kaercher) Trautvetter, Beaver Falls and the late Charles W. Trautvetter.
He retired from the former Babcocks and Wilcox Tubular Products as a machinist for 30 years. He enjoyed golfing and dancing to the Oldies, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his family.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by three children and their spouses, JR (Jody) and Teresa Trautvetter, Pasco, WA, Kerri and Kenny Brown, East Palestine, OH and Tammy and Tim Davis, Darlington; seven grandchildren, Chelsea Graber, and her husband Howard, Craig Brown and Jennifer Burgess, Curtis Brown, Christopher Brown and Sarah McFarland, Brooke Davis and Seth Spencer, twins Taylor and Timmy Davis; a great granddaughter, Audrey Brown and her brother Austin Burgess; a brother and sister-in-law, Daryl and Flora Trautvetter, Rogers, OH and a sister-in-law, Nancy Trautvetter, Rochester.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Mervyn Trautvetter in 2011.
A private graveside service for family will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. in Grandview Cemetery, Big Beaver Boro.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Pathway Church, 239 Braun Road, Beaver Falls. Friend will be received an hour prior.
