EAST LIVERPOOL – Pauline V. Boram, 95, of East Liverpool, died Monday at East Liverpool City Hospital.
She was born Feb. 1, 1919 in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late James and Ida (Dugan) Hess.
A lifetime area resident, she worked as the head housekeeper at the former Mary Patterson Building, retiring in 1981. She was a member of Northside Community Church.
Survivors include a son, Ronnie Boram of Calcutta; three daughters, Phyllis Ferguson of Wellsville, Barbara Sambroak of New Cumberland, W.Va., and Darlene Scott of East Liverpool; a sister, Thelma Hamilton of East Liverpool; 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald E. Boram, and four brothers, Russell, Raymond, Charles and Richard Hess.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes with Pastor Larry Rose of the church officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery. Calling hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday.
