NORTH LIMA Betty Jean Miller, 85, of North Lima died Wednesday morning at Hospice House.
She was born Nov. 12, 1928 in Dayton, the daughter of the late Verne and Thelma Hyre.
She worked on her family’s farm.
She was a member of Zion Hill Church of the Brethren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Raymond Miller; two sisters, Lucille Blunt and Edna Mae Weller; a brother, Richard Hyre; and a son, William E. Miller.
Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy M. Miller of Youngstown and Karen D. Boyce of Frostburg, Md.; four sons, Lloyd V. Miller of Greenford, Raymond A. Miller of North Lima, Russell Miller of Finland, and Steven C. Miller of Hermitage, Pa.; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Hill Church of the Brethren, Columbiana, with Pastor Peter Fowler of First Friends Church officiating.
Arrangements were handled by the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home, North Lima.
