Cathy A. Hudas died peacefully on Wednesday June 18th at Vibra Hospital with family nearby. Her passing to the gates of heaven marked the end of an extended illness. Cathy was a small business owner who faithfully served the government and professional communities in Columbiana and Carroll counties as an independent abstractor.
Cathy was born February 22, 1944 in Canton, Ohio. She was a daughter of the late Thomas and Ann (Rukavina) Radalia. Cathy was the baby sister to survivor Marge Alborn and her deceased brothers Thomas, Robert, and Bill. Her birth order was recognized with the affectionate name, “Babe”.
Cathy is survived by her devoted husband, Ronald D. Hudas; son, Ron of Bentonville, AR and his three children, Gabe, Gianna, and Grayson; loving brother-in-law, Art Alborn; sister-in-laws, Marilyn Radalia, Joyce Radalia (John) Schumacher and seven nieces and four nephews survive Aunt Babe. Also surviving is Jennifer Kuhn Hudas of Jackson, the loving mother of Cathy’s grandchildren; and a stepdaughter, Rhonda Ross, of Circleville, Ohio.
Preceding her in death is a stepdaughter, Lisa Merkle.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 12:00 p.m. in the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home, 303 South Chapel Street in Louisville with Rev Fr. Nicholas Mancini officiating. Interment will follow in St. Louis Parish Cemetery. Cathy’s family will receive friends Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
