Mechanicstown – Mary E. Nicholson Beadnell, 77, of Mechanicstown, died late Wednesday night at her home with her family present.
Mary was born June 21, 1936 in East Liverpool, Ohio, a daughter of the late Carl and Elizabeth Householder Nicholson.
After graduating from Carrollton High School in 1955, Mary was a life-long resident of Salineville, Ohio. Mary loved her Tuesday Night Card Playing Partners, the Monthly Skillet Ladies, and her United Calvary Presbyterian Church family. Mary worked at Summitville Brick Yard, TRW and drove the van for Home Meal Deliveries for Southern Community Center.
Mary will be sadly missed by her husband John C. Beadnell; three sons, John (Jayne) Beadnell, William (Deanna) Beadnell, and Ray (Lynn) Beadnell all of Salineville; one brother, Clyde (Mary Ellen) Nicholson of Lisbon, Ohio; one sister Ruth Ann (Gene) Keister of Louisville, Ohio; twelve grandchildren, Jennifer (Grant) Board, Jason (Amanda) Beadnell, Kara Esancy, Kerrie Esancy, Dustin Beadnell, John Beadnell, Carl Beadnell, Ryan Beadnell, A.J. (Alicia) Castro, Breanna Castro, Anthony (Ryann) Castro, Josh (Kylie) Beadnell; seven great grandchildren, Becca Beadnell, Grady Board, Annie Board, Grayce Gardner, Rhemee Beadnell, Journey Beadnell and Maci Beadnell.
Besides her parents Mary was preceded in death by a great grandson Jaden Beadnell.
A service will be held Saturday May 10, 2014 at 1:00PM at the Kerr-Pastore Funeral Home in Salineville, Ohio, with Pastor Tom Allmon of Bethesda Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 6-9PM.
