Mrs. Dorothy Tincani, 89, of North Sewickley Twp., passed away on Monday, May 26, 2014 in the Salem Community Hospital.
Mrs. Tincani was born on December 21, 1924 in Colon, Panama to the late Federico and Alice Davis Hawkins. She graduated from the St. Mary’s Catholic School and attended college for two years in Panama. Dorothy had worked as a manager at Health City in Ellwood City for many years. She is a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish and its Christian Mothers. She had been a volunteer for many years at the Holy Redeemer School cafeteria, and the Holy Redeemer Annual Bazaar. Dorothy also is a member of the Ellwood City Hospital Auxiliary and the Catholic Daughters of America #901.
Mrs. Tincani is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Kera (James) Wilson of Columbiana, Ohio, and Charleen (Keith) Douglas of Bushnell, Florida, her son, Robert Tincani of East Palestine, Ohio, her nine grandchildren, and her fifteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joseph Tincani whom she married on September 15, 1947 and passed away on May 4, 2000, and her ten brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2014 from 6-8 pm in the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc..
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 2, 2014 at 10:00 am in the Holy Redeemer Church. Entombment will follow at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Assumption Mausoleum. Those attending the funeral mass are asked to meet at the Funeral Home on Monday by 9:20 am. Members of the Holy Redeemer Christian Mothers are asked to meet at the church on Monday by 9:50 am to form an honor guard.
