SALEM – Patricia Ann Slagle, 62, of Salem, went to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family and friends Wednesday evening, April 23, after a lengthy battle with kidney disease.
Patricia was born on November 26, 1951 in Fallbrook, CA, a daughter of James Edward and Jane Ann (Weisenberger) Murray. She was a 1970 graduate of South Range High School.
Patricia enjoyed cooking, vegetable gardening, and cats. She was of the Protestant faith.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory her son Ben of North Lima; her son’s father and step-mother, Carl and Cheryl Slagle of Leetonia; her adopted family Linda and Roger Clay of Salem, Jessica Hazel, Corey Rittenour, and Annabella Rittenour; uncles John Curatolo of North Lima and Bob Wilush of Greenford; aunt Twila Krill of Seattle, WA; cousin Jim Graham and his wife Joann of Canfield; and her cat Blackie.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and her cherished cats Angelpuss and Mister.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, May 2 at noon at Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home, 11500 Market Street, with Andrew Gangi officiating.
The family will receive friends on from 10 a.m. – noon at Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home, 11500 Market Street, North Lima, two hours prior to the service on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made in Patricia’s memory to West Side Cats, 2217 Mahoning Ave, Youngstown, OH 44509; or the National Kidney Foundation, 2800 Corporate Exchange Dr. Ste 260, Columbus, OH 43231-8617.
