EAST LIVERPOOL Kaleen Dawn Green, of Caprice Health Care Center in N. Lima, formerly of Fredericktown and East Liverpool, passed away at 8:11 a.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2014, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boardman. She was 64.
A resident of Fredericktown nearly all her life, she was born in East Liverpool on October 22, 1949. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Kathleen Redick Green.
Kaleen had been baptized in the Fredericktown Christian Church and was a 1969 graduate of Beaver Local High School.
Surviving are two sisters: Vera Doss of New Springfield, and Pam Barrett and her husband, Daniel “Doc”, of East Liverpool; she was also preceded by two sisters; Ethel McDonald and Patricia Divilbiss.
She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, including a niece Tammy Hunt, and her husband Brian, and their three sons, Weston, Colton and Austin, with whom Kaleen had once lived.
Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Sunday when the family will be present from 5 to 7 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 1:30 p.m. with Evangelist Will Montgomery of the St. Clair Ave. Church of Christ.
Kaleen will be laid to rest at Columbiana County Memorial Park. Family and friends will then gather at the Dawson Family Center for a time of fellowship.
