Thomas L. Pike, 82, of Kensington, Maryland and formerly of Lisbon, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2014.
Tom graduated from David Anderson High School in Lisbon. He proudly served in the US Marine Corps and was stationed in London, England. After his discharge, he settled in Washington DC, where he attended American University. He earned his degree in Accounting and served as Vice President / Comptroller at Hennage Creative Printers in Washington, DC.
After retiring from his career, Tom continued to be active enjoying travel to his wife’s native France, to visit his grandchildren in Minnesota and New Jersey.
At the age of 75, Tom went skydiving with his daughter Michelle, to celebrate her 40th birthday.
In October 2009, Tom was inducted into the David Anderson Athletic Hall of Fame for his achievements in high school football.
Tom is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Georgette G. Pike; also father of Chris (Liz), Eric (Diana), and Michelle (Kathy); grandfather of Lauren, Andrew, Samantha, Carissa, and Luke; was the son of the late Clyde and Margaret; son-in-law of the late Adrienne Billot; brother of the late Roger and Gary; brother-in-law of Judy all of Lisbon; uncle of Bradley (Lynne) and the late Scott; great-uncle of Ryan and Emily; also survived by many very dear friends.
