Karl Joseph Weber, 87, of Hanoverton, passed away early Thursday morning at Aultman Hospital in Canton.
He was born January 1, 1927 in Braddock, Pennsylvania, a son of the late William and Margaret (Zirkle) Weber.
Karl was a graduate of David Anderson High School, a Marine Veteran of World War II, and a retiree of TRW in 1986. He attended Lisbon Trinity Friends Church.
A devoted husband, loving father, and awesome Pap, Karl enjoyed gardening, playing horseshoes and Scrabble, listening to Gospel music and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Leona (Morris) Weber, his children, Joe (Fran) of Lisbon, Larry (Kathy) of Richmond, Virginia, Kathy of Hanoverton, Jerry (Debbie) of Louisville, Sue (Jeff) Nape of Columbiana, Randy (Tina) of North Benton, 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by an infant son, Daniel, one sister, Betty, and three brothers, Jack, Bob, and Bill.
The funeral service will be held at Lisbon Trinity Friends Church at 11 a.m. on Monday, officiated by the Reverend Richard Jones. The burial will follow at Trinity Friends Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday at Lisbon Trinity Friends Church.
