Carol Cooksey

LISBON – There will be services held at 11 AM Saturday January 18, 2014 at Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home for Carol L. Cooksey of Lisbon who passed away Wednesday January 8, 2014 at home with her family by her side.

Carol was born October 1, 1953 in Youngstown, Ohio a daughter of Eugene R. & Marjory Florea Adams.

She was a 1971 graduate of Hubbard High School.

Carol was a receptionist for many years at Belmont Veterinary Clinic of Youngstown.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Hubbard, and Basset Hound Club of America.

Carol enjoyed animals, antiques, and traveling.

She will be sadly missed by her family, her husband Ted A. Cooksey whom she married October 25, 1974; her mother Marjory Adams of Hubbard, her sister Kathleen Humphries of Hubbard, her brother David Adams of York, PA.

She also leaves her mother-in-law Jean Cooksey of Hubbard, her brother-in-law Thomas M. (Susan) Cooksey of Wichita, Kansas, her sisters-in-law Terry (Wayne) Morlock of Boardman, Tawna Cooksey James of Athens, Tracy (David) Doss of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Tammy (James) Stoshak of Dublin, Teena (Brian) Wylie of Hubbard, and Tia (James) Brink of Hilliard.

Her father preceded her in death.

There will be calling hours on Friday January 17, 2014 from 4-7 PM and Saturday January 18, 2014 one hour prior to the service from 10-11 AM at Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home.
