POLAND – Timothy L. “Tim” Casity, 55, of Poland, passed away Thursday afternoon, December 5, after struggling with a chronic illness for five years.
Tim was born on April 25, 1958 in Salem, a son of Leon H. and Lois June (McMurray) Casity. He was a life-long area resident.
He attended South Range High School, and was a member of Good Hope Lutheran Church in North Lima.
Tim worked for Three S Express in North Lima as a truck driver for 18 years. He also worked at Lawless Industries in North Lima as a welder for many years.
Tim loved motorcycles and cars. He enjoyed riding and fixing them. He was quite the handyman, always able to work on things around the house.
He leaves to cherish his precious memory his parents Leon and June Casity of Poland; a brother Jeff Casity of Austintown; two nieces, Christina and Alyssa Casity of Austintown; two step-children, Lisa Vinkler and Alan Melchionne; and four grandchildren, Timmy, Jacob, Maren, and Emilee, all of Poland.
Tim was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, December 11 at 11:00 a.m. at Good Hope Lutheran Church, 12030 Market Street, North Lima with Pastor Ralph Edwards officiating.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 10 at 6-8 p.m. at Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home, 11500 Market Street, North Lima.
