Ethel R. Irwin, age 93, of East Rochester and formerly Robertsville died Tuesday Dec. 3rd in Oakhill Manor.
She was born May 29, 1920 in Robertsville to Arthur and Lela (Monk) Starkey.
A homemaker, she had worked for TRW in Minerva.
Mrs. Irwin was a member of the Christ Memorial Church in Robertsville and had attended the New Franklin United Methodist Church. She graduated from Minerva High School in 1938.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne “Chip” Irwin who died in 2000, a brother, Norman Starkey and a grandson.
She is survived by a son, Jim (Nancey) Irwin of East Rochester, daughter, Sally (Layne) Cochran of Hudson, FL, 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren
Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 am in the New Franklin United Methodist Church with Rev. Elaine Weaver officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Memorial Park. Calling hours will be one hour prior to services at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Christ Memorial Church in Robertsville or the New Franklin United Methodist Church.
