Lisbon – Duryea Curt Ulbrich, Sr. 61, of Steubenville Pike Rd., passed away at 5:43pm, Saturday, December 28, 2013 in the emergency room at Salem Community Hospital following an apparent heart attack.
Mr. Ul-brich was born February 5, 1952 in Salem, a son of the late Daniel M. and Doris (Newcomer) Ulbrich, Jr.
He was a laborer and worked for Marsh Bellofram. Duryea enjoyed going to flea markets and garage sales. Mr. Ulbrich attended the Lisbon Baptist Temple and the United Methodist Church in East Palestine.
He is survived and will be dearly missed by his wife, Barbara (Tyson) Ulbrich, whom he married April 19, 1974; children, Duryea Ulbrich, Jr. of Lisbon, Tammie (Greg) Hallock of Lisbon, Todd Ulbrich of Lisbon, Hollie (Jim) Little of Salem; sister, Darlee (Ray) Metzger of Salem; sister-in-law, Joyce Ulbrich of Lisbon and 8 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Danny L. Ulbrich on December 12, 2013.Funeral services will be held at 12 pm, Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Cusick officiating. Burial will follow at the Lisbon Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10am until the time of services Tuesday at the funeral home.
