Lisbon – Danny L. Ulbrich, 65, of State Route 45, passed away peacefully at 5:15am, Thursday, December 12, 2013 at the Alliance Community Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Ul-brich was born April 5, 1948 in Salem, a son of the late Daniel M. and Doris (Newcomer) Ulbrich, Jr. and had lived his entire life in the area.
He worked as a machinist, laborer, painter and grinder by trade. He was a member of the Lisbon VFW Post 4111. Danny enjoyed rebuilding Farmall tractors. He would often be found sitting on the side porch swing watching the world go by. He also enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s extracurricular activities.
He is survived by his loving wife Joyce (Booth) Ulbrich who he married on June 8, 1973; son, Mark (Teresa) Ulbrich of Zanesville; daughters, Rebecca (Daniel) McMahon of Martinsburg, WV; and Heidi (Jerry) Dattilio of Columbiana; grandchildren, Michael, Chelsea, Susan, Leanne, Madison, Meagan, and Brian; brother, Duryea C. (Barbara) Ulbrich of Lisbon; and sister, Darlee (Ray) Metzger of Salem.
Services will be held at 1pm, Sunday, December 15, 2013 at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home. Friends may call from 12pm until the time of service.
