East Liverpool Lonnie E. Kidder, Jr., 40, of State Route 45, Lisbon, died at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 17, 2013.
Lonnie was born in Salem, Ohio, on January 8, 1973, son of the late Lonnie E. Kidder, Sr., who passed away in March 2013, and Connie Elkins Kidder of East Liverpool.
A 1992 graduate of East Liverpool High School, Lonnie was a licensed tankerman, a certified U.S. Merchant Marine welder and was welding at the West Point Truck Center until recently.
An avid Harley Davidson owner, Lonnie also enjoyed hanging out with his friends, going camping and four-wheeling, and any activity that involved his loving family.
In addition to Lonnie’s mother Connie, survivors include his daughter, Vanessa Kidder, and her daughter Payton Burkhammer, along with his son, Lonnie E. Kidder, III, all of Lisbon. Also surviving are four sisters: Susan Ring and her husband Mark, of East Liverpool; Linda Van Dyke and her husband Carter Sr., of Lisbon; Cheryl Morris and her husband Joe, of East Liverpool; and Lora Eiler of East Liverpool.
A memorial service will be conducted by Minister Bruce Cowart of the Greater Faith Family Worship Center on Saturday, November 23, 2013, at 4:00 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home, followed by a continued time of fellowship at the Dawson Family Center. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
