Marge Chilson

East Palestine – Marge McRoberts Chilson, 90, of East Palestine, died Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Covington Nursing Home, East Palestine, OH.

She was born August 2 1923 in Enon Valley was the daughter of the late Albert and Florence Cory McRoberts, Marge was a Veteran of the US Navy a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church, East Palestine, United Methodist Women, Church Women United, National Cory Society, East Palestine Art Club, Little Beaver Historical Society, She worked as a Dental Hygienist and belonged to the Dental Hygienist Association, which she helped form.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Newell Chilson, a brother John McRoberts, two sisters Renee McRoberts, and Ruth Sanders.

She is survived by a son James Newell Chilson, Bradenton, Fl, two daughters and sons in laws Susan and Arthur Senkevich, Bradenton, Fl, Diana Haley-Maye and Robert Haley, Akron, Oh., five grandchildren Amy Watterson Miller, Teri Watterson Mirikitani, Annika Maye, Glenn R. Watterson, Ethan Maye, seven great grandchildren Austin, Cameron, Braden, Alise, Ella, Nolan, and Lily, also many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Friday, October 25, 2013, from 2 to 8 pm in the Lutton Chippewa Funeral Home, 117 Blackhawk Road, Beaver Falls, PA 15010,, where services will be held Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 10:30 am with Pastor Mark McTrustry officiating.

Interment will follow in Little Beaver Cemetery.

The Veteran’s Honor Guard will meet at the cemetery at 11 am to present full military honors.
