NORTH LIMA Eugene “JR” Franklin Wright, Jr., 59, of North Lima, passed away Sunday afternoon, October 13, at Ivy Woods Manor surrounded by his family after an extended illness.
JR was born on February 28, 1954 in Youngstown, a son of Eugene and Eleanor (Span) Wright Sr. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was a 1972 graduate of Boardman High School, and was employed as a truck mechanic at Wright Trucking, was part owner of Harbison Drywalling, and was self-employed with his brother Don in Tomahawk Auto Detailing in North Lima.
JR enjoyed darts, golfing, playing pool, listening to music, and dancing.
He leaves to cherish his precious memory his mother, Eleanor Jean of Boardman; his father and step-mother Eugene Sr. and Julie of North Lima; one daughter, Natalie (Gary) Wright of Williamstown, NJ, two sons, Nicholas (Juliana) Wright and Joseph (Sasha) Wright, all of Columbiana; three grandchildren, Elli, Mikaela, and Carter; and four brothers, William (Stephanie) Wright of Edinburg, PA, David (Kari) Wright of Dublin, OH, Donald Wright of Boardman, and Gary (Carolyn) Wright of Mountain View, CA.
JR was preceded in death by his grandparents, his uncle Bernard Wright, uncle Clyde Bragg, and aunt Lois LeGamba.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 19 at noon at Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home, 11500 Market Street, North Lima with Chaplain Gary Rozier officiating.
The family will receive friends Saturday, October 19 from 10 am to 12pm at the funeral home.
The Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in North Lima, Ohio is entrusted with the arrangements.
