Salem, Ohio – Wilma L. McDade, 76, formerly of Negley, East Palestine, and Columbiana, passed away 12:40 a.m. Monday, September 23, 2013, at Essex II of Salem where she had been a patient for more than the past six years.
Wilma was born January 30, 1937 in Negley, a daughter of the late Frank S. and Mary Alice Rizor McDade.
She had worked as an assembler for the former M & W Electric Company for 21 years and had also at one time been employed by the former Edith’s Pizza Shop both of East Palestine.
She is survived by two brothers, William L. McDade of Negley and Jesse J. McDade of Rogers; and a sister, Alma Robins of New Waterford. Several nieces and nephews also survive her.
A sister, Louise Smith, preceded her in death.
Friends will be received Saturday, September 28th, at the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home from 11:00 – 12 Noon. The funeral service will be at the conclusion of the calling hours. Burial will follow in New Waterford Cemetery.
