COLUMBIANA – Elizabeth R. Falb, 97, passed away Monday morning at Parkside Health Care Center, where she had been a resident for 7 weeks.
Elizabeth was born on October 29, 1915 in Columbiana, a daughter of John and Lucy (Weaver) Lehman, and was a lifelong area resident.
She was a graduate of the Germantown School and was member of the Pleasant View Mennonite Church all her life.
In her spare time, she loved quilting and gardening.
Elizabeth leaves to cherish her precious memory, her sons, Maynard (Norma) and Merlin (Edith) Falb, both of Columbiana; her daughter, Luella Mae (Lloyd) Van Pelt of Columbiana; 11 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren; and three great-great granddaughters.
Besides her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband Levi, whom she married on June 19, 1938 and died on July 27, 1988; two sisters, 5 brothers, and one great-grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday at Pleasant View Mennonite Church, where the church ministry will conduct the services.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana and one hour prior to the services Thursday at the church.
Burial will be at Pleasant View Cemetery.
