BEAVER, Pa. – Dorothy J. Dillehay, 93, went home to be with The Lord Sunday afternoon at Friendship Ridge in Beaver, Pa.
Dorothy was born on October 23, 1919 in Cleveland, the daughter of Homer and Ethel (Spickler) Harrold.
A 1937 graduate of Columbiana High School, she attended the Youngstown School of Comptometry.
Dorothy worked at Mullins Mfg. in Salem from 1945 to 1950. She later worked at A & P in Dallas as a comptometer operator for 22 years.
A Dallas resident for 47 years, and was a member of the First Baptist Church. She always dreamed of returning to Columbiana, which she did when her husband passed away in 1997.
Later with failing health, Dorothy relocated to Aliquippa, Pa., to live with her daughter and son-in-law.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory, her daughter, Marilyn (John) Davie of Aliquippa, Pa.
Besides her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, who died in 1997; her first husband, Herman Rohrer; and two grandsons, Richard and James Camp.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana, located at 154 S. Elm St., with Clarence Mansfield officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Columbiana Cemetery.
