EAST LIVERPOOL – Timothy M. Wamsley Sr., of Lisbon, passed away at 7:08 a.m. Friday, July 19, 2013, at Salem Community Hospital. He was 48.
An East Liverpool native, he was born here on December 1, 1964, a son of Audrey Springer Wamsley of Calcutta, and the late David Wamsley. He was a 1983 graduate of Beaver Local High School, and had spent his life in this area.
Tim was the owner and operator of Tri-State Tree Service, and was a Protestant by faith.
In addition to his mother, he leaves behind two sons, Tim and David “D.J.”, as well as a daughter, Haley, and a granddaughter, Elizabeth. Two sisters, Brenda of Calcutta, and Robin and her husband, Joe, of Darlington, PA, also survive along with Lily and Abigail, his two nieces whom he dearly loved. His paternal grandmother, Bernice Wamsley, survives in Beaver, PA.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his father, was a daughter, Amanda, and a son, Tyler.
Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Monday, where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m., with Pastor Cody Berry of Destiny House officiating. Burial will take place at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
