SALINEVILLE – Charla J. Mouse, 69, of Salineville, died Tuesday, July 16, 2013, in the emergency room at East Liverpool City Hospital following an automobile accident.
She was born September 21, 1943, in Wellsville, a daughter of the late Charles and Lucella (McFall) Grindle.
Charla graduated from Wellsville High School in 1961 and worked as a secretary for Dailey’s Refuse for the last eight years. She had previously worked as a legal secretary for Baronzzi and Hanley Law Office.
She was a member of the Oak Ridge Presbyterian Church where she served as an elder and clerk of session for eight years, and she belonged to the Town and Country Card Club and Bunco. She loved taking bus trips and traveling.
Charla was preceded in death on December 14, 1994 by her husband, Daniel Mouse, whom she married April 18, 1963. She was also preceded in death by two sisters: Loretta Kiddey and Marilyn Swearingen.
Survivors include one daughter: Lorraine Householder and her husband William of Wellsville; two sons: Joe Mouse and his wife Penny of Hudson, OH, and Wayne Mouse of Salineville; and one sister: Bertha Crews and her husband Jim of Wellsville. Also surviving are ten grandchildren: Michael Householder, Stacie Householder, Chris (Bekah) Householder, Aaron Mouse, Allison Mouse, Andrew Mouse, Ashlyn Mouse, Charlie Mouse, Madison “Weeze” Mouse, and Wayne “Jo Jo” Mouse.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 20,, 2013, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Derek Marotta of the church officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm on Friday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
