BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – Gary L. Richards, 58, of Beaver Falls, died Monday, June 17, 2013, at UPMC Pittsburgh, with his loving family at his side.
Born June 19, 1954, in Salem, Ohio, a son of the late Ted Green and Gladys Gilmore, he was also preceded in death by his step-mother, Geraldine Green. He had been employed by Kenmar Manufacturing and later American Standard.
Gary was an amazing father, loving grandfather, and all around best person to have for a friend that you’d ever meet. The kind of person who never said no to a task, but always found a way to get through the toughest times, with a smile on his face.
Surviving are a son, Chad Richards and his fiancee Misty Gilbo, Beaver Falls; a grandson, Carson Lee Richards; a brother, Eugene Allshouse, Allegheny County; a sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Steve Crowl, Lisbon, OH, and his best friend George Libert and his wife Wendy, Beaver Falls.
A memorial service will be held Friday, June 21, 2013, at 6:30 p.m. in the Mayfield Bible Baptist Church, Beaver Falls, Pa. The Rev. Kenneth Manypenny will officiate.
