Lisbon – Loretta Faye Mills, 68, of State Route 517, passed away at 4:27pm, Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at the Salem Community Hospital following a recent illness.
Mrs. Mills was born November 4, 1944 in Elkton, Ohio, a daughter of the late George “Ed” and Naomi (Crawford) French, and had lived her whole life in the area.
A homemaker, Loretta loved to crochet and work puzzles.
She is survived and will be dearly remembered by her husband, Ronald G. Mills, whom she married August 30, 1964; daughter, Paula (Bob) Quetot of New Waterford; son, Ronald “Butch” Mills, Jr. of Lisbon; sister, Sarah Gorby-Smith of East Palestine; brothers, Paul (Phyllis) French of Lisbon and Harry “Nat” Gorby of Salem; grandchildren, Jessica (Cody) Stephens of Salem and Bobby (Beth) Quetot of Columbiana; great grandchildren, Aubrie Quetot, Levi Quetot and Joshua A. Quetot; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Loretta was also preceded in death by her sister, Rachael Thompson; brothers, Lester French, Wayne Gorby, Jim Gorby, and Charles Gorby; and grandson, Josh Quetot.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Monday, June 3, 2013 at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Brown of the Lisbon Nazarene Church officiating. Burial will follow at the Kemble Cemetery in Elkton.
The family will receive friends from 2pm to 5pm Sunday at the funeral home.
