New Waterford – Gary C. Quetot, 60, of Dogwood Circle passed away at 10:35 a.m. Saturday at Hospice House, Poland, following a ten-month illness.
Gary was born November 12, 1952 in Beaver Falls, PA, a son of the late Francis and Barbara E. Slagle Quetot, and had lived in the Rogers and New Waterford areas for most of his life.
He was a 1970 graduate of Beaver Local High School, and had owned and operated his own trucking company, until retiring last year. He was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Deborah Evans, whom he married on June 6, 1970, and a son, Gary Allen Quetot, in infancy.
Gary is survived by his second wife, the former Helen Yoho, whom he married October 27, 2012; two sons, Eric T. (Tina) Quetot, New Waterford, and Matthew M. (Tracy) Quetot, Colorado Springs, CO; and two brothers, Frank Quetot, Clarkson, and Arnie Quetot, Louisville, KY. He also leaves six grandchildren, Ian, Madison, Lilly, Sydney, Brooke, and Chloe.
The family will receive friends at the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home, East Palestine, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 21st. Burial will follow in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens, New Waterford.
