INDUSTRY – Ruth Cline Ratkovich, 71, of Industry, formerly of Newell, W.Va., passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013.
She was born January 1, 1942, in Newell, W.Va., a daughter of the late Chester and Helen Shroades Cline. Ruth graduated from Wells High School and was the co-owner and operator of the former Eli’s Club in Newell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Tracey Ratkovich and Kayla Ratkovich Duty, and three brothers, Larry Cline, Harold “Buck” Cline and James “Herk” Cline.
She is survived by her husband, Eli Ratkovich Jr. of Industry; son, Eli “Butch” Ratkovich III of Negley; two daughters, Lisa Duty of Industry and Connie (Robert) Grimes of Industry; 11 grandchildren, Eli IV, Heather, Stephanie, Jerry, Shawna, Jacob, Robert, Kalin, Ashlea, Haylee and Paige; five great-grandchildren, Nathan, Brooke, Kylie, Makenzie and baby boy Burroughs; three brothers, Tom (Sandi) Cline of Newell, Terry (Susan) Cline of New Manchester, and Kimmer (Nancy) Cline of New Cumberland; and a sister, Ginny (Gary) Richey of Michigan.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today, April 3, 2013, at Nixon Funeral Home in Newell. Burial will follow at Shadow Lawn Memory Garden, Newell, W.Va.
