CRAIGSVILLE, W.Va. – Lora Gwenn Davis-Mullins (Loopy), age 37, of Craigsville, West Virginia, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, January 30, 2013 from Charleston Memorial Hospital. She is an image of grace and courage.
Lora was born in New Brighton, Pa., to Harold and Agnes Davis on Oct. 29, 1975. She attended school in East Palestine, Ohio and graduated in 1994. Lora went on to earn business degrees from the University of Akron. She owned and operated Premium Stone Surfaces and Custom Stone Overlays. Above all things Lora treasured her children, family and friends; constantly put others ahead of herself; had abundant faith and great love for Jesus, and always shared her testimony.
Lora is survived by three beloved children Madilyn, Kaitlyn and Victoria; her parents Harold and Agnes Davis; siblings Tammie (and Jeff) Nathaniel, Alan Davis and Rachel Davis; 11 nieces and nephews; two great-nephews; in-laws Larry and Charlotte Mullins and family; her “angel in WV” Tammy Rader, and numerous family and friends. She is an inspiration to all.
Keeping with her giving nature, her desire was to gift her body to medical research. A celebration of Lora’s life will be held Saturday, Feb. 23, 1-5 p.m. at Cottle Church of God, 19623 Webster Road, Craigsville, W.Va. 26205. You are encouraged to bring written memories and loving thoughts to be shared and passed on to her daughters. Lora was an amazing, fearless and beautiful woman. Our lives have been forever blessed for knowing her.
In lieu of flowers, she wished for memorial contributions to be made for her daughters. Donations can be made at any First Community Bank, 304-742-5101.
