ENON VALLEY, Pa. – Richard Glenn Frum, 74, of Enon Valley, Pa., passed away at 2:40 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 17 in Zephyrhills, Fla., at the home of his son, Jerrold.
Mr. Frum was born April 27, 1938 in Monongalia County, W.Va., the youngest son of the late James W. and Ada Pearl Rogers Frum. He had been employed at the former Babcock and Wilcox Tubular Products, Wallace Run, for 30 years prior to his retirement. He had held several truck driving positions with various local companies, and at one time had owned Frummie’s Tire Barn in Unity, Ohio.
He is survived by two sons, Jerrold G. and his wife Gloria Bielewicz Frum, Zephyrhills, Fla., and Ronald D. Frum, East Palestine; a daughter, Debbie L. and her husband, Greg Lindner, both of East Palestine; and one sister, Janice Richmond, Marysville, Ohio. He also leaves six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Frum was preceded in death by seven brothers and four sisters.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home, East Palestine, Ohio, with Rev. Mark McTrustry of Centenary United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Rochester, Pa. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 6-9 p.m. Friday. The family has asked that material tributes take the form of contributions to Gulfside Regional Hospice, 5760 Dean Dairy Road, Zephyrhills, Fla. 33541.
