SALEM – Patricia A. McIlduff, 81, of Columbiana, passed away at Salem Hospital on Tuesday with her family at her bedside.
Patricia was born on Nov. 18, 1931 in Akron, the daughter of Harry and Margaret (Wayman) Englehart.
A 1949 graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Akron, Patricia graduated St. Thomas Nursing School in 1952 and became a registered nurse. She worked at the Salem Convalescent Center and also at NEOACC.
On June 11, 1955, Patricia married Patrick Richard McIlduff in Stow, Ohio. She belonged to St. Jude Catholic Church in Columbiana.
Patricia leaves to cherish her precious memory her daughters, Margaret (Robert) Frey of Harrison, Ohio, Helen McIlduff of Wyoming, Ohio, and Mary (Cass) Nagy of Ravenna; her sons, Edward (Barb) of Kent and Thomas of Sebring; grandchildren, Bethany, Samson, Daniel and Edward Jr. McIlduff; Jennifer (Adam) Hirsch; Jonathan, Stephen, Daniel, and Nicholas Frey; and Christopher, Michael, Cassandra and Theresa Nagy; Eric and Matt Grimm; and great-grandchildren Zoey Benca and Abby Hirsch.
She also leaves her sister, Margaret (Richard) Denholm, and brothers William (Josie) and Jim (Denni).
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Arthur and Harry, sisters Winifred Dolibois and Mary Rita Shuff and grandchildren Serena and Samuel McIlduff.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4 at Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana, and also from 9-9:45 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5 at Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Jude Catholic Church in Columbiana with Father Tom Ziegler officiating.
Interment will be in Columbiana Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made in Patricia’s name to Alzheimer’s Association, Greater East Ohio Area Chapter, 70 W. Streetsboro St. Suite 201, Hudson, Ohio 44236.
